Young Photographers Inspiration

I chose Silvia Grav and Rachel Baran because they're photos are really interesting to look through. Silvia's images are mostly black&white with some that have little light and color too. Her photos intrigue me because they create a sort of gloomy and curious mood. The images aren't sad or depressing but are still creative. Rachel's photos are a mix of confusing, colorful, dull, and mysterious ones. Her pictures are mostly photo shopped but still have a real-looking effect with the photo shopped parts. Some of her pictures have a surrealism look but are bright and colorful, too. I like her images because her ideas are really creative and creative various types of moods all throughout each one.

Pumpkinnnnnn Shoot

For this week's shoot we decided to carve our own pumpkins and set up a display to show them all off. We used leave from outside, collections of different types of ropes, fake props, and all of our pumpkins to make one big scene to shoot. Setting it all up as a class was fun and especially the carving part, too. Hands-on projects are the best way to learn for me, so i think that's why i loved it so much.
