The final photo I chose is the one I took at noon. The lighting was perfect and the mulch in the background is actually visible. First, I blurred the leaves behind the main one and adjusted the brightness so the yellow on the edges of the leaf would stand out.

Landscapes: 3 Times of Day
This is my first landscape image that I took, in the morning around 7 am. I took some of the saturation away to make it look more dull and have a cool filterish look. I also, added a cyan filter to draw attention away from the mulch, so the leaf takes the color.
My second photo was during night time around 7pm. I used flash because I missed the sunset. I added contrast to have the green stand out. Then, I adjusted the levels so you couldn't see the mulch in the background.
The final photo I chose is the one I took at noon. The lighting was perfect and the mulch in the background is actually visible. First, I blurred the leaves behind the main one and adjusted the brightness so the yellow on the edges of the leaf would stand out.

Hannah, although you took these at different times of day and that shows through your reflection, the idea behind the landscape images was to take a picture that dramatically shows the different lighting patterns and shadows that natural light plays. Having a much larger range of view across land would work much better.
